Popping into the Haig Club 'House-Party'

We headed down to 19 Greek Street to experience an elegant house party organised by Haig Club where all traditional whisky rules were to be left at the door. Occupying a converted house in the heart of London’s party scene, could they really pull off the houseparty vibe at 3pm on a Friday afternoon?

When we arrived we were greeted by a group of eclectic and theatrical “housemates”, who after taking our coats led us into the first room, the Lounge. The room looked fantastic with plenty of bold and progressive features. Handed a Haig Club, Orange and Tonic to sip, a live band started taking requests from the audience. Everything contributed to a really warm welcome to the world of the brand.

The genial hosts played a key role in keeping all movements very casual and unforced. Once we’d finished our drinks it was time to move on to the Dining Room.

The Dining Room was a beautiful and premium setting where, keeping in line with the brand CTA #MakeYourOwnRules, we started mixing our own bespoke cocktail with expert mixologists. After leading us through the process of making and personalising our own Haig Club New Old Fashioned, it was on to the last room of the townhouse.

With all the best parties ending in the kitchen, naturally that’s where we finished the evening. As well as a DJ and dance floor, we were offered the opportunity to purchase a personalised bottle of Haig Club or indulge in two more Whiskey cocktails, the Espresso Martini and the Pornstar Martini.

And then before we knew it, it was over. Our friendly and conversational hosts brought the experience to a natural end, signalling hometime by complimenting our involvement and thanking us for attending.

Overall, there was a small element of scepticism before attending the event due to the house party claim but not long after stepping foot into the building had the experience conjured up the feelings of a house party very naturally.

For further and more specific details on how the experience played out take a look at our presentation.
